I guess everyone has different preferences. I know a regular latching footswitch like the boss fs 5l can switch between two channels but it would be great to have something to switch between 3 or 4 channels that s not as big. Boss katana 50 footswitch option.

Hey guys i made a cheap diy footswitch for my katana 50 amp. Gear oc diy boss katana footswitch. It appears that the majority want less as this katana series is extremely popular. The boss ga fc is around 95 here while the parts for this project cost only around 15 excluding the tools which i already had at hand.

I think boss was trying to build an amp with many features yet did not have 50 knobs to tweak and buttons to press. There will always be those who prefer more knobs and there will be those who want less. Also right now since i don t have a footswitch to change presets i use the arrows on my laptop to change presets get some latency lag delay from tone studio in between changing presets. I have a boss katana 50 which i use for home practice only no gigs etc i know many people love this amp i just don t gel with it and i don t really want an amp that i need to ideally connect up to my pc to get better tones etc.

I only need the footswitch to switch between banks and channels. Anyone know of any footswitches out there or an easy way to make one for just switching between 3 channels on the boss katana amps i m looking at the 100w head. Is there a better alternative footswitch from another company that works with the katana 50. Thanks for the help.
